High-quality ingredients are the basis of all Terezia company products. In terms of mushrooms, many of them are cultivated directly for us. Thanks to our cooperation with university specialists, we use special strains with the highestcontent of active substances. We have the ingredients for each batch of products tested in an independent, certified laboratory for the content of active substances, and we also perform a microbiology analysis and test them for heavy metals and other substances. Only then can they be transferred to production, where they are processed into a final food supplement under very strict hygiene conditions in our own certified production, which meets the strictest criteria. Our products are evaluated by an independent institution, the National Institute of Public Health in Prague,which issues a product safety certificate. The vast majority of manufacturers do not undergo this process, but we want to be sure that we aren’t giving our customers anything that might be harmful to their health. Chemicals that are contained in certain dietary supplements have been shown to be harmful to human health. We therefore don’t use any preservatives, added food colorings or chemical binders that only accelerate the production process. We prefer purity and quality.
Whole mushrooms methodology
Each mushroom contains a unique complex of beneficial substances. During extraction, only one single substance (e.g. beta-glucan) is recovered from the mushroom and all the others are unnecessarily lost. That is why we always use whole mushrooms to preserve the natural harmonic combination of all health-promoting substances as nature has “blended” them, thus maintaining the synergistic effect. For example,
our 100% dried oyster mushroom contains not only beta-glucan, but also lovastatin, mushroom fiber, vitamins B, D, C and K, and trace elements of copper, chromium, zinc, selenium, iodine and many other active substances. A distinguished professor and expert on medicinal mushrooms, Mr. Chang, said that a mushroom extract such as beta-glucan is a good soloist, but the whole mushroom with all the active ingredients is a well-coordinated symphony orchestra.
